Who We Are

The MPAA is made up of some of the finest western artists in the northwest who just happen to live in Montana. Our work features the western way of life in oil paintings, pastels, watercolor, photography and bronzes. Portraying western characters, Native Americans, wildlife and western landscapes, these Montana artists can be found in galleries and western art shows throughout the United States. This group is comprised of chosen professionals from across the state of Montana.

What We Do

As a group, we strive to bring the work of traditional fine artists from all over Montana into communities to promote the arts.
As individuals, we have given our work and our talents over to community schools, charities and public works. We volunteer our expertise as professionals to schools whose arts programs have been cut or marginalized by budget restraints. Most charities know the benefit of using fine arts as fund raisers. Public places have been enhanced by the arts. Arts in Montana generate more revenue that timber and mining combined, according to a study by the Montana Arts Council. We are proud to serve and enhance the creative spirit of Montana through our art.
